Winter Skills (Mississippi Little League)

Registration: Registration will open October 2025.  Sessions begin January 2026
Age: Minor, Major, Junior and Senior (DOB Sept 2009 - August 2017)
Players will play in the division they will be in Spring 2026
Eligibility: Open to current (past) registrants of Mississippi Little League who intend to register for MLL Spring and Summer programs 2026
Program:
- Skills program: hitting, pitching, catching, infield and outfield
- This program is designed for young Players who desire to increase their Skills and knowledge of the game in order to develop to play baseball more competitively.
- Weekly 2 hour session of skill development

This program is coached by paid professionals who have extensive experience training and playing triple AAA baseball with various baseball clubs throughout Canada and Junior College in the U.S.  Either playing baseball at Carleton University or assisting in coaching young players in elite clubs in Ottawa, several of the MLL Winter Skills Program's Coaches also work at the baseball development camps offered at Carleton University.

Schedule:
2 hour sessions Saturdays between 1:00-5:00 gym and 6:00-10:00 Turf (12 sessions) 
January 2025 - April 2025
Location: Carleton Place High School Gym 1:00-5:00 and Beckwith Indoor Turf 6:00-10:00
Fee: $TBD includes 24 hours skills development
Equipment: Equipment required: Baseball glove, batting helmet, running shoes, jock/jill.
Gray baseball pants or athletic/sweatpants, shorts are not permitted.
Team bats will be provided.
Optional: batting gloves, bat (USA Baseball)
